Motion Computing CL920 Overview

Designed for mobile workers, the CL920 Rugged Tablet PC from Motion Computing is a fully-featured computer in a durable and lightweight frame. Built with an internal magnesium frame and a chemical resistant chassis, the CL920 features a 10.1" View Anywhere Display that can be navigated by 10-point touch or the included Wacom digitizer stylus.

The rugged CL920 is powered by a 2.16 Intel Pentium N3540 quad-core CPU and 4GB of DDR3L-SDRAM, and contains a 128GB solid state drive. It includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi, 4G LTE mobile broadband with built-in GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0. An SDHC card slot is integrated for expandability, as are a USB 3.0 port and micro-HDMI port. A 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera are built in, as well as dual array microphones, an integrated mono speaker, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The CL920 is Enterprise ready, which means it's prepared for integration with your workplace's existing software. And whether in the office or in the field, your data is safe with a suite of security features including Trusted Platform Module and encryption software.

Though portable and lightweight at less than 2 lb, the CL920 is powered by a battery that provides up to 8 hours of life. The installed operating system is Windows 7 Pro, 64-Bit.

View Anywhere Display
The 10.1" display includes anti-smudge and anti-reflective View Anywhere technology that makes it especially suited to use in bright environments. The display adjusts quickly in bright sunlight or harsh artificial lighting to maintain accurate images. The screen provides 180° viewing angles and supports screen rotations of 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°. The capacitive screen can be navigated by 10-point touch gestures or with the included Wacom Digital Pen.
Durability
CL920 Rugged Tablets are built to endure frequent handling and withstand likely stresses. Some of the features which make this possible include the following:
  • MIL-STD-810G certified to withstand 4' drops, altitude, high and low storage and operating temperatures, temperature shock, rain, humidity, sand and dust, vibration, and shock.
  • IP52 rating, indicating that the CL920 is protected from limited dust ingress and water spray less than 15 degrees from vertical.
  • Corning Gorilla Glass, a damage-resistant screen designed to withstand high-volume user interaction and repetitive motion. It retains optical characteristics and strength after extended use and is treated with water, chemical, and disinfectant resistant coatings.
  • Magnesium-alloy internal frame with chemical resistant chassis.
