Large nice antique copper engraved view of HOAIGAN, in China, by Johann NIEUHOF, 1665, 17th Century, who was in the employ of the Dutch East India Company.

Johan Nieuhof was the first chronicler and official drawner of the first Ambassy in China of the Dutch East India Company. His work was the most important source of informations about China for Europeans in 17th century.
