Ultra-scarce rookie of the great Valentino Mazzola on one of the few cards made during his short lifetime.

Unquestionably one of the best Italian soccer / football / futbol players of all-time , there are just a handful of known cards from prior to his 1949 death.

This is from the Cicogna issues, meant to be handcut and is one of just NINE copies graded by SGC with NONE by PSA. Of those nine copies this is one of JUST THREE at this grade, 2.5 Good+ GD+ ( pop 3) and there is only ONE higher, which is just a 3 VG. The main body is quite clean with just a bit of print issues on the border and chipping on edge and more chipping to corners. Closer pics are shown.

This is an exceptionally issue and a copy from this set has NEVER SOLD graded here. It is a grail card for Italian soccer collectors at a reasonable price for what it is.
