Samuel Butler was an English novelist and critic, whose prose translations of the Iliad and the Odyssey are still consulted today. A great addition to the personal library of anyone interested in learning more about the geography of the ancient world. Any issues with hinges or binding due to age or wear could provide an excellent opportunity for restoration or rebinding, if desired.
