This is a stunning Antique Sterling Silver (I believe) hand mirror made in 1913 to commemorate someone with Initials W W, who was either born in 1863, or married in 1863. This was purchased in the UK decades ago, so I'm assuming it was made there or in Europe. Please see the detail photo with the maker's marks.
I have NOT heavily polished it, as some collectors prefer the patina of age.
It is deeply embossed using the traditional techniques of Chasing and Repousse', to push the metal forwards and push it back. The mirror with edge is 5" diameter. The whole thing is 9 1/4" long.
The mirror itself is in very good condition with minor marks on the edge and one small spot inside. The back has some indentations from age. See photos.
