Great antique silver watch case. Has some wear, no major damage. Scratches and marks in the silver. Most of the scratches are where the case snaps open. There are 2 dings as well, shown in photos. The hidden hinge system is a very cool design patented in 1883. Not sure of the exact year this case was made but I do know it was between the early to mid 1870s and early 1880s. There is some wear on the design from age and use. The glass crystal is in excellent condition for its age. There is one spot that is visible on certain angles but it cant be felt anywhere. My best guess is there is a small chip on the edge that sits in in the channel that holds the crystal in the case. Ships as shown in photos.
