Marantz 10b Tube Tuner

I would like to say that the 10b has been tested and is working.  I have tested it. But the signal it receives is not robust and the dial and indicator lights are out. We also have only one station, public radio, were I live and that station is broadcast via a repeater.  Certainly not the best conditions for a SOTA tuner testing. It wound certainly benefit form a rebuild/upgrade. The audible signal is mixed with white noise.  The scope and stereo light work.  Please be under no pretenses, I do not think you can hook this up and enjoy FM stations.  Though I cannot be sure, I do presume it needs restoration.  Our single radio station is from a repeater and is a public station to boot. That us what one gets living st 10,000' in the high country of Colorado. As I remember, restorations and upgrades are give or take $1,000.00.

Please note that the walnut case the 10b is resting on is my 19, and not for sale.

We all know this is one of the most coveted electronic pieces ever made.  It has sat in storage for a while.  I live in the middle of nowhere.  The only station is our public radio station, and that is through a repeater. The station comes in, but faintly and white noise is prevalent.  As with all high-end electronics of this age, there are both modification, upgrade kits available.  Or a few well know services that will completely rebuild the tuner and upgrade it.

The scope works, but the dial and indicator lights are out.  Buying an upgrade kit includes the new bulbs. I have one if you want it.

Please purchase this, if you are intending to actually use it, with the intention of having it professionally upgraded and restored. While it does pull in our one singular station, very faintly, I have never had it in a location where there are strong signals. If you just want it on your shelf looking cool as heck, that it can do as is.

There is dust visible behind the glass.

International buyers, I placed $1,100.00 as a shipping amount. Contact me with your address and I can supply a far more accurate quote.  I ship Internationally using UPS International, they are not the cheapest out there, but reliable.
