For Sale is a famous 1960's TYPE 3 Original Photo of Jimi Hendrix. In this rare photo Jimi is seen posing in all black in a full body portrait. Images from this photoshoot were used in many publications over the years. He had a talent and a gift that we still haven't witnessed 50 years later. Many consider Hendrix to be one of the best guitarists of all time. I would have done anything to have been able to watch him perform at one of his shows. Jimi's photos are so rare because he only had a 4 year career before his death and most of his photos were taken in Europe since that's where he played a large amount of his shows. This photo is not date stamped but was taken during the 1960's. It was then printed in what feels to be the late 1970's to early 1980's paper stock from a duplicate negative. The size is 7.5 x 8.25 inches and is in MINT Condition. This is truly a gorgeous photo and a Type 1 of this photo would go from $5k-$10k. Type 3's usually go for around 10% of the Type 1 value.
