"L'Histoire Extraordinaire des Soldats de la Nouvelle France" is a 320 page, 9.5"x13" hardcover written by Jacques Bodin and published in 1993 in France by Edition O.C.A. Communication in a limited, numbered edition of 1000 copies (this being No. 169). All text is in French. It examines the military forces in New France (the French colonies in North America) in the 1600s and early 1700s. There are many black-and-white and color illustrations. A color print by Eugene Leliepure showing a French officer in Quebec circa 1665 is laid in.

The book is good condition. The dust jacket and blue cloth boards are now protected by clear mylar and show minimal wear. It's not evident from the exterior, but there's a bump at the top of the spine that affects all pages near the gutter. There are no internal marks.
