This is the first collaboration item between "TIMEX," a watch brand with a history of over 160 years, and "ABU GARCIA," a Swedish-born fishing gear manufacturer.

The predecessor of "ABU GARCIA," which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year, was a pocket watch manufacturing company that was a favorite of the Swedish royal family, and this is a Japan-only model with "TIMEX," which shares the same DNA of watch manufacturing.

The base is a reissue of a mil-spec watch required by the U.S. military, and while the case is usually made of resin, the material has been changed to stainless steel for the collaboration model, and the bead-blasted finish gives it an intrepid black color reminiscent of an "Abu Garcia" reel.
