In fair condition. Moderate wear along extremities with rubbing and dryness along corners and joints. Some scuffing to marbled boards with light toning of pigments. Spine abraded with light scuffing to surface of leather. Gilt ruled bands are bright and clean. Old hand ownership of John E. Dawaske on pastedown. Moderate foxing to end papers. Internally good with light toning and minor instances of foxing throughout. Some age staining. Margins of text, particularly in rear signatures, are afflicted with dampness staining. Some pink staining has resulted from the dampness staining as well. Last two leaves are folded improperly. Free of known markings. Binding intact. Please see photos.
