With the beautiful Morpho didius	The Morpho didius belongs to the Morpho didius-menelaus group (subgroup Grasseia) and is native to South America - Peru. Its distribution extends from Ecuador to southern Peru. It is one of the most magnificent butterflies in the world because of its brilliant colouring, size and pattern. The basic color is black. The characteristic, highly glittering blue changes color significantly when you change your viewing angle. The color nuance of the blue on the upper side of the wings changes from a turquoise to a green tone.
With the beautiful Madagascar Sunset Moth	The Madagascar Sunset Moth (Chrysiridia rhipheus) butterfly is a showy and beautifully colored butterfly native to the island of Madagascar. The butterfly's wings have a wingspan of about 7 to 9 cm and are characterized by bright colors such as blue, green, yellow and pink. The wings are decorated with fine black lines and dots and have a metallic sheen. The larvae of the Madagascar Sunset Moth feed on the leaves of trees, particularly trees of the genus Omphalea. The pupae hatch after about two weeks and the adult butterflies only live for about two weeks, during which time they mate and lay eggs before dying. Often admired for its outstanding beauty, the Madagascar Sunset Moth is a popular destination for butterfly viewing and collections. However, the species is also threatened as its habitat is being destroyed by deforestation and human activities.

Like us humans, insects, crawlers and butterflies lose the smallest bits of skin, shell particles or pollen from the pollinated wings.

Origin:	All of our animals come from certified breeding farms. No animal is killed for our showcases. All animals live their short, natural lives and die a natural death. Only then are our animals stretched, shaped and dried.
Species protection is very important to us:	We guarantee that you will only receive groomed animals that have been bred and protect species. With each import, the legally required species protection test is carried out (with a dealer outside the European Union, e.g. Thailand, you have to arrange this species protection test yourself if you are checked by customs). We get most of our animals from a small breeding farm on the outskirts of Chiang Mai in Thailand. In this breeding operation, particular attention is paid to compliance with species protection regulations. Unfortunately, this is not the case everywhere. However, due to the very high fines for violations in Thailand itself and the necessary species protection test when importing to Germany, it has developed in such a way that violations have been occurring less and less for many years. Before we introduce our insects, we check them for species protection. Customs then takes over species protection in Germany. All our articles are presented and checked here.
