Candy Basecoats are a special effects basecoat, designed to replicate the visual depth and appeal of traditional candies, but using the standard application methods of a traditional metallic basecoat. Designed to be uséd over a solid ground coat, DNA™ Candy Basecoats are an amazing alternative to traditional candies whilst still delivering maximum visual impact. Different colour Candy basecoats require a specific colour primer or ground coat colour. Check TDS for recommended colour required.

DNA Custom Aerosol Paints are designed so anyone can create professional custom paint effects at home without needing professional spray painting equipment or needing to purchase commercial quantities of paints and other products.

Shake very vigorously for at least 3-5 min before use and as required during use. Standing can upside down for 5 minutes before shaking helps. Always use in a well-ventilated area. Ensure item to be painted has been cleaned, sanded (if applicable) and prepared correctly. For best results ensure aerosol cans and substrate is at temperature of 25ºC.

All DNA Custom Paints are temperature rated and if Top Coated with 2K Clear Coat, are suitable to use on items such as brake calipers, rocker covers and other engine parts.

Our orders are shipped from Cairns, QLD Australia (4870). If there is no sufficient stock in this branch then your order will be fulfilled by one of our other branches or supplier directly.

Please allow 1-2 business days from the purchase time for your order to be fulfilled and shipped. If for some rare reason this will not be achieved, we will contact you directly and inform you of the situation.

Australian Orders

For standard delivery within Australia we utilise Australia Post as our primary carrier and Aramex as our second.

Please note that Cairns is outside of the Next Day Delivery area for Australia Post Express Post. Please keep this in mind should you be considering utilising the Express Post option.

New Zealand

Items are shipped via Australia Post International Express Courier. The estimated delivery time frame is 3-5 business days from date of dispatch.

Other Countries

• You are required to notify Wholesale Paint Group within 10 working days in the unlikely event that the item arrives damaged or faulty. In addition to a detailed description, you are required to provide images (or a short video clip if more appropriate) of the damage of the order to proceed with the warranty process. Once assessed and approved by our customer service team, you will be contacted to proceed with the return, refund or replacement process. Please do not attempt to return the item without our approval.
• To make a claim, you must provide us with your order number. You need to also describe the problem precisely and provide evidence to support your claim, and state whether you are requesting a replacement, repair, refund or credit.
• Refund generally takes up to 2 working days to process, and will notify you once the refund has been processed. However, please allow an additional 5 working days on top for your financial institution to process it.
• A refund or replacement will not be provided if products are being misused, mishandled or mistakenly installed. Customers are responsible for following the instructions and advice given by the manufacturers.
