These include bone volume, biological width, softtissue biotype, a condition of the adjacent teeth, implant design, implant dimensions, abutment design, augmentation procedures, implant insertion depth, time of loading, time of restoration, suturing techniques and patient compliance.therefore, An understanding of the etiology of crestal bone loss is very important for the implant success. There are various approaches to preserve the crestal bone for the longterm success of implant.
