The rural work experience is basic for developing a graduate's competence in functioning as an effective teacher/researcher/extension professional' in the transfer of technology to farmers and therefore, this type of practical training and experience of working with farmers in villages becomes inevitable: Recently it is being realized that job opportunities are tilting in favor of self employment and private 'sector. This has necessitated enhanced skill and selfreliance, to satisfy the needs of user agencies.
