"Carved Wooden Tray Vietnam Circa 1900"

Magnificent monoxyle work for this tray with naturalistic decor from the late 19th century - early 20th century from Vietnam.

  This tray is made from a single piece of exotic fruit wood, oval in shape with two side handles.

Vegetable decoration of rhizomes, branches and leaves of bamboo around and on the wing of the tray.

Also on the wing, a sparrow and a grasshopper in low relief.

Openwork decoration in the center in imitation of braided ropes.

Beautiful wood patina similar to walnut.

No lack, no restoration.

Note: fine cabinetmaking performance.
