In fair condition. Covers and spine have minimal age-related toning and edgeware. Ex-library from the Bigelow Free Public Library with the name and information on the front cover, remnants of a sticker with the Dewey Decimal number on the spine, the name stamped onto several pages, and checkout information on the last page. “Please Handle With Care” is stamped with blue ink on the title page. Pages have slight age-related toning that has extended onto the title page. The last page is ripped, as pictured. Hinges are worn, with uneven support. The East India Company was an English, later British, trading company that began in 1600 and dissolved in 1874. They focused on the trade of items such as tea, opium, cotton, silk, salt, spices, and others. This illustrated volume includes the written correspondence of individuals that were in charge of the tea trading aspect within this company, including biographical notices of the Boston Tea Party.
