Vintage fine cut crystal trinket/jewelry box. German Democratic Republic “Lausitzer”, 24% lead oxide hand cut crystal. Hand cut whirling hobstar is cut on the lid and base with an Bohemian star in the center on top and bottom. Sides are cut in a diamond pattern with etched criss cross pattern. Beautiful clear crystal in excellent condition. Size: 5" x 3" Matching ashtray in my store.
The Soviet occupied German Democratic Republic (East Germany) existed from 1949 to 1990. It ceased to exist after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
