The South Africa 10 Rand banknote was issued by the South African Reserve Bank in 2013 with Omron rings added on both of its front and back designs. The front design of the green banknote features rhinoceros and a portrait of former president Nelson Mandela who was also known as Madiba. The back of the note also depicts rhinoceros. The paper bill has a holographic windowed security thread with the coat of arms, SARB, and 10 RAND. Additionally, it has a registration device in the form of a rhinoceros and a watermark that shows Nelson Mandela and an electrotype 10. The note measures 128 x 70 mm and printed by the South African Bank Note Company. It also bears the signature of Gill Marcus who served as the bank governor/president. This South Africa 10 Rand has been graded 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
