English Eclectic Antiques & Unique Interiors

A fantastic antique case. Made from brown leather with the makers name to the inside lid. The Army and Navy Cooperative Society was established in 1871 by a group of military officers. This example has the address of Victoria Street, London, which was one of there flagship stores and is later. We are unsure as to what this case was used for but has a lovely embossed leather interior and brass locks. The top has a lovely tooled leather design and the colour and patina is just wonderful. A rare and useful case, with lots of history. Perfect for any collector to use and enjoy.

Condition

Carry strap missing. Doesn't quite shut properly and has no key. Water staining to back at bottom. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
