New Book , Polish release

Matt Walsh is currently one of the most brilliant columnists in the United States. He is a master of daring polemics and exposing the absurdities of modernity. If we want to consciously understand the struggle for souls, and even more so if we want to take part in it, it is worth following his actions and ... reading his books. Although Matt Walsh's activity takes place overseas, everything he writes also applies to us. The Church of Cowards is his first publication published in Poland. Not reading it is a loss, an omission, an intellectual sin...

The Church of Cowards is like Hitchcock. It starts with an earthquake and then the tension builds. Matt Walsh begins his story with a vision that many believers fear: the invasion of modern barbarians who will seek to destroy Christian culture, bury the Church, and willingly and bloodily oppress Christians. "Non-waiting," writes Walsh. Nothing like that will happen, because potential persecutors of the faith would first have to find its symptoms in the people of the West. “Suppose that these barbarians - tight-knit and ready to murder Christians - would really come to us. How great their astonishment must be...” - the author begins his vision, enumerating in an effective tirade a long list of features of "symptomatic faith", so characteristic of Christians of the 21st century. There will be no beheadings of Christians, he concludes. As Christians - in our shallowness, cowardice, withdrawal - we have become ... unworthy of persecution.

Thus ends the first chapter of The Church of Cowards, this Hitchcockian earthquake. And then it's just like the master of suspense promises...
