Shelley China - Indian Peony - 34 Piece Tea Set.

Gainsborough shape tea set - transfer ware black branches with hand painted green enamel peonies and gilded edges.

In excellent condition with no damage noted, some gilding loss to the jug handle and rim of sugar bowl.

The set has different base marks, dates vary from 1910 through to 1945

The set consists of -

2 x Serving Plates - diameter 22.5 cm

10 x Teacups - height 6.5cm (to rim) - rim diameter 9.5 cm

10 x Saucers - diameter 14 cm

10 x Tea Plates - diameter 17 cm

1 x Sugar Bowl - height 8 cm - diameter 14.2 cm

1 x Jug - height 9 cm - diameter 9.6 cm - spout to outer handle 12.8 cm
