About the Artist:  Giulio Ferrari was an Italian artist and designer who later illustrated for the Fascist magazine l'Illustrazione Fascista. Earlier in his career, he coordinated the publication of an important encyclopedic-collection outlining the history of art & design from Egyptian, Chaldean-Assyrian, Phoenician, Aegean, Greek, Etruscan, Roman, to the Far East and included works in the Byzantine, Arab, Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance styles.  He later designed travel posters promoting Italian locales during the1930s until his death.
