THE BLACK BOX SOLO LP RADIO PROMO 1978

is a copy of the extremely rare, 1978 "Black Box" KISS solo albums

cassette interview package that was sent as a promotional items to radio

stations. The two sided cassette features comments from each band member about

a song on their album. The radio personality would then make up a question and

play the cassette, as if the KISS member was right there in the studio. The

package measures approximately 5 inches across by 7 1/4 inches long and has the

KISS name on the front and side of the box. When the box is opened, side 1 of

the cassette is shown and the contents listed: an introduction, interviews with

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The reverse side features the same for Ace

Frehley and Peter Criss. The package also includes a full color card with mini

pictures of each band member, a 12 page booklet titled The KISS albums, which

contains biographies and a full page photo of each band member, with an album

discography on the back, and and 8 page booklet titled "Dear Friend: Here

are suggested questions for the answers on this cassette." A set of

questions was then listed for each band member based on their comments on the cassette. I am the

original owner of this item and it has been in my possession since 1978. It

will be shipped in a box for its protection.
