Here are the first three volumes of "De Forest's True Dakotans," 8.5"x11" softcovers written, illustrated and published in the 1980s by Pat De Forest (Bismark, ND). Vol. 3 has 80 pages - the other two are unpaginated but around the same size. Each book features many interesting facts about historic and modern residents of North and South Dakota, accompanied by humorous illustrations.

The books are in good condition, with light smudging, staining and edge wear to the covers. Vol. I's back cover and several nearby pages have a mild crease to the top corner. Vol. 3 has an ownership mark to the first page. The stapled bindings are sound.
