"Each Product Assumes a Social Responsibility"

Especially for sky gazers and sign language learners

-Fratelli Fortuna (Italy), a collective artistic project, designed "Coffee for the Mind" . The name chosen futures not only the body, but also the Mind. An aid to be used during breaks, to learn a new language, and bridge the communication gap. The cup is an invitation to learn and practice lis, the Italian sign language that we often see but not everyone knows.

- Alfredo Luis Vasquez (Colombia), a student of plastic art and design, his projects are mainly based on recycling urban waste, setting up awareness campaigns, communication strategies and new objects of design using ecological and waste materials. To create his cup, Luis based his idea on the "star clock" , an ancient system used to tell time by using only a few details from the start constellations. In the artist's opinion, to look at the sky reminds us that everything in nature works together and that humans are linked to everything that surrounds them. For this reason, the star clock turns the coffee break into an experience that links us to the rest of the world. To use: position the cup handle in line with "midnight" keep the cup still and turn the saucer until the current month appears opposite you. Add an hour for summer.
