IMMUNE BOOSTING. In one study, daily supplementation of MicrobiomeX® resulted in a strong reduction in calprotectin was shown compared to the placebo group. Calprotectin is an important biomarker of gut inflammation, and its reduction suggests a decrease in pathogen load in the gut. Other recent clinical evidence demonstrated that MicrobiomeX® significantly increases the secretion of antibodies (IgA) in the gut lumen, indicating better protection against colonisation by pathogens.
