All of our oak cottage doors are made using only high quality, sustainable character grade European oak. This grade has knots and small imperfections which give them the traditional look that is lacking from so many oak doors. On the front we use a traditional beading detail to the edge of the boards in keeping with the overall style of the doors.
The doors are hand made in the traditional way using wide plank oak boards and plugs to cover screw holes. Please see the other options available for different ledge and brace arrangements.
