Charles Pollard Crowther 1860-1941 was a West
End theatrical photographer between the wars. His portraits and theatre
production shots were published in the society press between 1922 and 1933. He
was a fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, co founder of the RPS
Pictorialist Group, Director of the Camera Club, London, and a lecturer and
photographic judge. His work is in the National Portrait Gallery Collection,
London. He was a member of the Photo-Secession and lived in Kobe, Japan in 1918/19.
Each item is sent in an archival sleeve and hard backed envelope.
