WOMEN'S RED CROSS NURSE KHAKI TAN COTTON CANVAS UNIFORM JACKETS

These field uniform combat style jackets came from the stocks of a large Czech Civil Defence unit whose warehouse was cleared by a friend of mine some years ago. These are VERY rare jackets and elements of this uniform are impossible to find in the UK.
The jackets probably date from the late 1960's to early 1970's they are made from a very good quality khaki tan cotton canvas which was impregnated with "Hydrofix" by SEBA Tanvald, a waterproofing used on rainwear at the time. These were part of the standard field uniform issued to the FEMALE Red Cross medics serving with the Czechoslovakian Civil Defence Forces.
PLEASE NOTE: These should only be washed by hand with a mild detergent, this material will fade with modern machine washing, they will remain perfectly wearable but machine washing will give a very aged look!
Made by Otavan Trebon the jackets are made from a very nice fine cotton canvas in a khaki tan, they have a very military appearance and to my mind feel influenced by WW2 US Army uniforms. Jackets feature button front, detachable hood, four buttoned front pockets, internal drawcord at the waist, buttoned cuffs.
CONDITION: Both jackets are in unused new-old-stock condition, they have never been worn and one still retains its factory cardboard tags, however they have been in storage for many decades so they may show light storage marks. There are no flaws to note, when you select the size the photographs will change to the actual jacket you will receive.

SIZE 46-2 - 45" chest (22.5" pit-to-pit), 17" across the shoulders, 19" under-arm, 24" shoulder seam to cuff, 25.5" from collar seam to bottom hem of jacket.
SIZE 54-3 - 50" chest (25" pit-to-pit), 18" across the shoulders, 19" under-arm, 25" shoulder seam to cuff, 26" from collar seam to bottom hem of jacket.
