Blue Yeticaster - USB Condenser Microphone - Black (Used) **EXCELLENT SOUND**!
Whether you consider yourself an amateur voice actor, an upcoming singer, an aspiring streamer, or even someone's next favourite commentary YouTuber, the Blue Yeticaster USB Condenser Microphone is the ideal mic for someone just like you!

About
As the product name implies, the Blue Yeti is a USB condenser microphone, with 4 different modes of operation, adjustable in-built gain and volume knobs, a mute button and a standard headphone jack for crystal clear playback - which means you can even plug in your Apple headphones if you so please! The microphone also comes with an adjustable swivel boom arm and a shock mount, which is sold on their website as the Compass III.

In terms of age, this used product is in fact 4 years old, and has never left its original position for that exact period of time - which is on my desk. Though there's been a few nicks here and there, the recording quality of the microphone has been untainted, and still works like a brand new Blue Yeti mic! So, as opposed to buying a brand new Yeticaster kit which is about $300 - $400 on the market, you could be buying this one on eBay for the low price of $189.00 instead!

Sound quality
Now, sound quality - as demonstrated from the video, the sound is crystal and pristine, and sure can work nicely as a professional mic with the right room treatment. This being said, keep in mind that the Blue Yeti is an incredibly sensitive mic. Even when set to single-direction mode, it still picks up tiny little sounds, which might not be something you want. The advantage of this however is that the mic can still pick up your voice from literally across the room, which is admittedly further than most mics out there on the market. Another thing is that the microphone also easily peaks, though thankfully you can adjust the gain for that, though I still wouldn't recommend the microphone for screaming.

System Compatibility
The microphone itself is compatible with most computer systems, but I've only ever used PCs all my life, so I can't be sure how it works with Apple and Linux systems, though I have seen someone use a Blue Yeti mic to record crystal clear audio on their iPhone...which is indeed something.

But in terms of software, regardless of whether you're using Audacity, Adobe Audition (like I am) or some other high end recording program such as Pro Tools or Studio One, it's all no problem.

When it comes down to audio interfaces, I've yet to see someone use the Blue Yeti microphone on one, so I'm not so sure.
