Copaiba resin oil has been used for more than 500 years in traditional folk medicine. Pub Med has published numerous studies on its effectiveness in different areas.

Within the indigenous community, Copaiba Oil was used mainly as an analgesic and healing agent, used after battles to heal the wounds of their warriors or as a balm to help heal the umbilical cord of newborns.

It is a great ally against muscle pain. Studies show that Copaiba Oil has a nociceptive action, that is, it acts directly on the nociceptors, nerve cells responsible for detecting painful stimuli.

Its chemical composition helps block the detection of a painful stimulus by sensory neurons, thus being a natural alternative for pain relief.

The application of Copaiba Oil in regions affected by muscle pain activates blood circulation, relieving pain and inflammation.

Fight acne and other inflammations:

It is an excellent alternative to combat acne inflammation. Copaiba Oil is very rich in B-caryophyllene, an important anti-inflammatory chemical component.

Asthma and allergies:

It has powerful action in case of chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma and allergies. Studies show that the Humulene present in its composition has been shown to be able to reduce nuclear transcription factor, as well as p-selectin expression in lung tissue and mucus secretion from the lungs. In this way, its anti-inflammatory and expectorant action are true allies against common diseases of the respiratory tract.

Candidiasis:

Copaiba can also help women's intimate health. It can be used as a natural solution in the treatment of opportunistic infections such as Candidiasis. β-caryophyllene showed antimicrobial activity against E. coli, S. aureus, K. pneumonia, P. aeruginosa, and C. albicans.
