Background:
This "Reeves' Sketch Book Series 349" was purchased by myself from Sotheby’s sale of paintings and drawings direct from the estate of Arthur Rackham.
The Rackham family had kept and preserved this material for almost 80 years, many items having never been exhibited.
I will supply a copy of my invoice from Sotheby’s with the Sketch Book, with personal details blanked out.

Condition Report:

Six sheets remain in the sketch book, a number of which are loose or close to being loose, each with some wear to the edges.

Occasional marks from drawings that have subsequently been removed.

The book is in a well worn state with particular wear to one of the outer boards (please see photo no. 7).

Charcoal residue to one of the pages from a removed picture (please see photo no. 1), and a small doodle in orange/brown pencil to the inner rear board (please see photo no. 3).

A unique piece of Rackham memorabilia.

Please see my other listings for original Rackham drawings that I purchased from the same sale at Sotheby’s.

Postage:
Rest assured, this will be well packed.  Photos of the packaging in process will be provided to the buyer.
Costs are based on the United States and will be cheaper for other destinations - please contact me for precise costs.

VAT / CUSTOMS TAXES
Please note that any customs charges or VAT charges are always the buyers responsibility to pay.
This has nothing to do with me and I do not benefit financially from it- it is all done by ebay and I have no control over how much they will charge you.
Countries in Europe and some other countries have rules in place so VAT is paid to ebay and ebay then pay the VAT to your countries government.
If provided by ebay, I can write ebay's VAT number on the parcel to show VAT has been paid as long as the VAT was paid at the ebay checkout.
