Perhaps it was Professor Meow the cat with the garden gnome in the playroom. Players move their object token around the board and eliminate information throughout the game. They can use their pet's special power once during the game to help them get an advantage. When someone is ready to make an accusation they secretly look at the cards placed in the case envelope. A correct accusation wins the game.
