The fourth issue is from the Northern Wastes, where the Emperor and his warriors conquered the tribes of North Men, bringing these fierce warriors under the rule of the Empire.  These coins represent the ideals of these self described Vikings, each one distinctive and lending to the history and heritage of their people.  The Gold Piece displays a Dragon ship, the warships highly valued by the Emperor for their shallow draft combined with excellent seaworthiness, a powerful contribution to the Empire's Naval forces.  The reverse displays a pattern of axes, spears, swords and a shield, symbolizing peace through martial power.  This Silver piece is engraved with the World Tree Yggdrasil, of central importance to the North Men's religion while the reverse is engraved with a Fire Wyrm and a hammer, which represents both the War Hammer that is the chosen weapon of the Emperor and the Hammer of Thor, the North Men's God of Thunder.  The Copper piece displays Arends arm ring on its face, a symbol of fealty to the Empire among the North Men, and the reverse displays a simple four cornered Urnes design, a reminder of the combined strength of the four first Kingdoms united under the banner of the Arends Empire.
