Another piece from my friend's mother's estate....

Offered for your consideration is this Set of 18 Salad Forks.  The Forks were crafted from 800 Silver by Julius Lemor of Breslau, Germany. 

The design is a pretty Wreath and scroll design. At the top of the handle is a well done Monogram "M'.

The Forks are marked on the back with the Julius Lemor Mark that was in use from 1900-1940.   

Each Fork measures approximately 7 inches long. I believe they are Salad Forks, but they could be used as Luncheon Forks too. 

This set was so tarnished, I polished them as best as I could. My fingers kept cramping so I had to quit.

There are no dings or deep scratches. There are fine scratches from age and use.  A few of the "Tines" are slightly askew and need a gentle adjustment. 

I weighed a few of the forks and each was over 42 grams, so I calculated an approximate weight of all 18 at 756 grams. 

Any odd Blue/Pink Color on the pieces is a reflection of my camera!  : )
