Antique Japanese Meiji Period Bronze Vase Raised Relief Floral & Birds.

A lovely Japanes bronze vase from late Meji, 1868- 1912. Baluster shape, it features etchings and raised depictions of birds and flowers.

Stands 15" tall x 6 1/4" at the mouth and base x 8 1/2" diameter at widest part.

It weighs 8 lbs, 7 oz.

Beautiful antique piece ... appraised at $600- $800 online appraisal.

Take a look at the bottom. It looks like lead reinforcement. There is no damage on the inside. So I think it was made this way. I am not the original owner, but I have never polished this beautiful piece.
