Here is a lovely armorial mother of pearl gaming counter  from the 1800's; shows initials under a  dexter hand above holding a dagger aloft under a  motto.  Initials in copperplate script I think represent I F - the tail doesn't go low enough for a J in my opinion, but please view some copperplate script online if you wish to make your own assessment and if those initials are important to you. It would pass as JF but methinks IF.... also  IF coupled with Not without cause could makes quite a nice  gift for a loved one.

Reverse shows a grid with stars

Motto is Non Sine Causa is Latin for Not Without Cause, which is a motto for the Justice family.

34 mm in diameter -

Condition - good 200 + year old antique used condition, under very close scrutiny couple of tiny fleabites around edge rim; marks commensurate with age and use. Mother of pearl is a natural material from mollusc shell.

Picture is representative, all are in similar good condition.

Thanks for looking and please keep an eye on my listings; have many more counters going on the next few days. Obviously will combine the postage for multiple purchases.
