In as-is condition. Both front and back cover boards are detached. The spine has some tearing at the top and bottom. Pages have age-related toning and foxing that has extended onto the page edges. Hinges on the text block provide good support. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.

Bruno Ryves was an English royalist churchman and the editor of the 1643 Oxford newsbook Mercurius Rusticus. He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1634 and later was named dean of Chichester and dean of Windsor. This printing is only 173 pages, as some printings are longer. Issues with hinges and binding due to age and wear could provide an excellent opportunity for restoration or rebinding, if desired.
