Clue Vintage Bookshelf Edition

The Classic Murder Mystery Board Game

by WS Game Company

The Game:

In 1944, a retired clerk in England, named Anthony Pratt invented a game called “Murder”. Mr. Pratt brought the concept to Waddington’s games in Leeds, England, who begin producing it in 1949.

Parker Brothers bought the US rights to the game in 1949 and sold it under the name Clue. Since that time, millions of people have endeavored to solve the age old question: “Was it Colonel Mustard in the kitchen with the candlestick?”

There’s a mystery that needs solving, and you’re just the detective to do it. One murder…6 suspects. In this suspenseful murder mystery game, players have to find out who's responsible for murdering Mr. Boddy of Tudor Mansion in his own home. Get the scoop on the mansion's rooms, weapons and guests and start detecting! Was it Plum with the wrench in the library? Or Green with the candlestick in the study? Eliminate information throughout the game in this classic whodunit. The gameboard has rooms to move in and secret passages to navigate faster, and if you’re a super sleuth you can keep track of the clues with your Detective Notepad and solve the case! When the case is solved, you can store all the cards and parts in the bookshelf case – until the next murder!
