D659 James Pyle Pearline Soap trade card grotesque eye red bow girl child
Excellent condition.
Pearline for clothes washing without scrubbing and rubbing. The advertising
text on the reverse is an excellent example of modern advertising in pushing
the limits of product effect exaggeration, product boasting, and competitor defaming. The human eye image is startling and very attention getting to
read the text.
Front Image: A triple pink bowed little girl perhaps gesturing to be quiet -
She is about to tell a secret. The advertising on the reverse would be
that secret.
