18th Century Chinese Porcelain Seated Boy c1725 Van Halm London
This charming little boy is one of the finest that I have come across. He has a
double top knot and is holding auspicious objects in his hands. Overall
unglazed, cobalt blue apron glazed. Some considered these to be good luck/fertility
symbols. This boy is very similar to the seated boys in the Tek Sing Cargo
c1822, larger examples are to be found in the Nanking Cargo c1750 and the Ca
Mau Cargo c1725
