For you consideration we have a working Testrite-Kingdon Illuminated Slide Copier made in the USA under patent No. 3288023 by Testrite Instrument Co. Inc. Newark NJ 07105

This unit lights up when plugged in, there are two different slide trays the one slides out by lifting the tab and sliding it out. You could light up slides with this and take pictures of the slides with digital means. I am not exactly sure of how this was done when this was created but it looked like the patent was designed to use with film to copy the images. It is in pretty good shape for the age of the item. There is an area around the light bulb itself that creates a white box and there are a couple of rust spots inside of there, the opal glass behind the slide seems to be in good shape, tight in the holder and not damaged. You can unscrew four nubs that hold the side on to gain access to the inside for bulb changes and cleaning. Once the nubs are screwed back to hold the side on, they also function as the bottom feet.

You can look at the pictures for measurements, as well. The slide in picture is NOT included.
As always, feel free to ask questions. We respond during normal business hours.

We save most of our shipping containers from our business activities and reuse them in our shipping on eBay, most of the time we get a new box for every order that comes in. We prefer to pass the boxes and bubble wrap, etc. on to a new life and hopefully you can find a use for them once again.

We always package our items well, so that you can receive what you see in the pictures.
