This exceptional antique George V sterling silver coffee pot has a plain tapering cylindrical form on to a circular collet foot, in the form of an oil can.

The surface of this fine example of antique silverware is plain and unembellished, with an applied moulded border to the upper rim.

The coffee pot is fitted with a conical shaped hallmarked cover surmounted with a sterling silver tiered finial.

This antique silver coffee pot retains the original carved wood C shaped side-handle featuring a scrolling thumbpiece and fitted to plain silver sockets.

This antique coffee pot has a plain tapering cylindrical spout, which is perpendicular to the handle.

The underside of this coffee pot bears the retailer's mark 'Crichton Bros, London & New York'.
