Very Rare Vintage 80'
Made of real 24 carat gold plated / Precious Metals
Frame is 24 Carat gold heavy plated serial number on the frame
The lenses are amazing blue changeable with a gradient and slight mirror.
Ray Ban metal logo is on the top right hand side lens
In the left paddle there is the small B&L logo
Preowned in very good condition with signs of used
Has usage light scratches
Lenses has some small scratches which wouldn’t disturbing vision or in the line of view and not noticeable when worn only on close inspection or straight light can see them
And indeed I’ve utilised these in challenging light (in the cockpit,at high altitude)and had no issues with them at all.
Still killer wearers
Frame have minor flaws and remain very good wearers.
Overall in very good condition
The lenses are BL etched at the standard hinge point positions and are in very good condition.
In virtually clear condition. Any marks present are extremely insignificant. Some may fall in the line of vision, but none affect vision in any way.
Very good condition, all original and the arms are still tight.
There are some scratches to both lenses (doesn't affect vision) and tiny amounts of colour loss around the frame.

American Company Bausch & Lomb, was the first firm to market spectacles under a brand name and have been in business, for nearly one hundred years. They specialised in excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
On sale here is a rare example of Bausch & Lomb's great craftmanship in the Aviator ,Pilot or Top gun ,outdoors man or (THE GENERAL) Sunglasses, which is based on the styles of the 1930's.
It is is crafted from acetate plastic,with 24 carat gold plated precious metal.

Original Ray Ban Company was generated in 1937 by Mr Bausch and Mr Lomb they used to Produce the world’s finest sunglasses. Bausch & Lomb have managed to capture the world’s market, they used to supply American air force with Ray Bans as part of their uniforms. They have continued their business until 1999 that’s when the company was sold to an Italian company which still trading with the same name (Ray Ban Luxotica) but quality of their sunglasses is nowhere near the older Bausch&Lomb made sunglasses.
Bausch&Lomb used to make their sunglasses to last you life time hence they didn’t have the two years warranty because they knew their products will last and insure your eyes Lifetime.
Vintage Bausch and Lomb Ray Bans are far greater quality than their modern equivalent.
From 1937 to 1999 Ray Bans were made by an optics company called Bausch and Lomb in USA and France, hence the 'BL' engraving on vintage lenses. The 'Ray Ban' logo printed on the lens only appeared on later models from the 80's onwards, earlier examples with no lens logo printed are still genuine
- From 1999 to present day Ray Bans have been made by a company called Luxottica in Italy, lenses inscribed with 'RB'
