For sale is this lovely Victorian smelling salts bottle with cut glass body and a decorative silver top by M Bros 1897.

Tightly fitted hinged top with an internal stopper which is probably not the original. Blank cartouche on the lid

There are chips and fleabites on the glass body, especially just above the base rim - similar to the one highlighted in the last photo. There is also a hairline crack on the base. Top of cap not even [slopes] and looks as if its dented. No signs of a dent on the inside![please see photos]

Approximate measurements:

Height 6.5cm, base 3.5cm

Condition:

This item is being sold in used condition and therefore have marks/scratches chips and a hairline crack/deep scratch on the base

Visible polish residue

Would benefit from a clean/polish

Inside of cap lid also hallmarked with the lion and date mark
