The small module provides the HDSPe cards with a Word Clock input and offers a synchronization to LTC and video. Thanks to SteadyClock(TM), the TCO not only extracts absolute positions from LTC, but also a very clean low-jitter word clock from LTC and video. Thus a sample accurate timecode synchronization to audio or video sources is assured.
One single TCO can be used with different HDSP/HDPe cards at the same time (multicard), if connected to a supported card (see graphic).
LTC can be derived and generated in all common formats, i.e. 24, 25, 30, and 29.97 frames; drop-frame or non-dropframe. Commonly used Pull-Up- and Pull-Down formats (+/- 0.1% and +/- 4%) can be utilised, and PAL and NTSC video formats will be automatically detected and processed.
The received Time Code can be sent to the audio or video application as ASIO Positioning Protocol (APP) or MTC. An application can send APP to the TCO, which will generate LTC on hardware level with lowest jitter (Windows only). Several fly-wheel functions facilitate chase operation (adjustable drop-out length, Continuous- or Jam-Sync).
Under Windows the TCO provides the SMPTE position as APP (ASIO Positioning Protocol) and as MTC Sync. Under Mac OS X the TCO provides the SMPTE position as MTC Sync only.
The TCO has a combined switchable Word Clock/Video input (BNC) as well as an LTC input (BNC). The Word Clock /Video input on the card can comfortably be terminated (relay-controlled) with a 75 Ohm terminator from the settings dialog.

- Mängel am Produkt, die durch Verwendung von Zubehör-, Ergänzungs- oder Ersatzteilen verursacht wurden, die keine Originalteile sind.
- Produkte, an denen Veränderungen oder Ergänzungen vorgenommen wurden.
- Geringfügige Abweichungen von der Soll-Beschaffenheit, die für Wert- und Gebrauchstauglichkeit des Produkts unerheblich sind.
Die Behebung eines vom Verkäufer als garantiepflichtig anerkannten Mangels erfolgt in der Weise, dass das mangelhafte Produkt nach Wahl des Verkäufers unentgeltlich repariert oder der Kauf rückabgewickelt wird. Voluntary warranty for refurbished items
For refurbished items, the seller provides a voluntary guarantee for all defects that occur during a period of 1 year from the transfer of risk and which are demonstrably attributable to a material or manufacturing defect, provided that this is assured in the item text. Only private users are entitled to the warranty and it cannot be assigned. The following are excluded from the warranty
- Products that are subject to wear and tear due to use or otherwise (including capacitors, ICs, transistors, diodes)
- Defects in the product that are due to non-compliance with operating instructions, improper use, abnormal environmental conditions, improper operating conditions, overloading or lack of maintenance or care
- Defects in the product caused by the use of accessories, supplements or spare parts that are not original parts.
- Products to which modifications or additions have been made.
- Minor deviations from the target condition which are insignificant for the value and usability of the product.
The rectification of a defect recognized by the seller as subject to warranty shall be carried out in such a way that the defective product is repaired free of charge or the purchase is reversed, at the seller's discretion. Replaced products or parts become the property of the seller. The warranty claim must be made within the warranty period. Claims other than the right to rectification of defects in the product specified in these warranty conditions are not covered by this warranty. The provision of warranty services neither extends nor restarts the warranty period for the product.
By winning an auction, concluding a buy-it-now contract or submitting a price proposal, the buyer agrees to all the conditions of sale stipulated by the seller.
