This is a fantastic, hard-to-find issue of Rolling Stone magazine, with Twin Peaks babes Lara Flynn Boyle, Sherilyn Fenn and Madchen Amick on the cover. From October 4, 1990 (issue #588).

What makes this copy really stand out is the fact that is has NO mailing label, which is what true collectors always look for. Also, it’s in exceptional condition for its age (33 years old). I’d conservatively rate it as EX+/M-. The staples are tight, and all pages appear to be intact and unmarked. The only noticeable imperfection would be a couple of hairline creases in the lower right-hand corner of the cover (see second pic).

In addition to the Twin Peaks cover story, there’s also a really nice feature on “The Death of Stevie Ray Vaughan: 1954 – 1990.”
