Around 132g on my kitchen scales. 

This passes the 'hot needle' test and has a delicious fragrance - very heady and addictive. 

It is extremely dry and light but still slightly soft when pressed with a fingernail etc. 

This colour of Ambergris denotes that it's very high quality - it is brown and white which shows it is of a considerable age. 

A small piece of the white area has snapped off but this won't matter when it is used to make fragrance. 

Collection only from southern Scotland as it's too valuable to post.
