Whilst clearing out my Father's property, I found this Microform Reader wrapped and stored in a packing case in the Garage.  Unfortunately, I have no idea how long it has been in storage.

It has not been tested, as I have not been able to locate the original supply cable.

The Cover is Hinged at the left and right back corners of the Reader - there is a small crack to the right hinged corner (see Photo 10);

Both the Glass Panels are intact.  The "drawer" they are on pulls out freely and moves left and right freely.  When this "drawer" is fully open, the top Glass Panel automatically lifts up to enable the Microforms to be placed onto the bottom Glass Panel.  When the "drawer" is pushed closed, the top Glass Panel closes down, keeping the Microforms in place;

The Mirror, which is inside at the top of the Reader, is intact;

The White Viewing Panel is intact and is secured in place with 4 no. Velcro tab fasteners, which are all intact;

The 2 no. Eye Lenses (one marked "Lens C" and the other "E") are mounted on a removable part.  Both Eye Lenses move freely and independently of one another;

The Off Button (to the front of the Reader) moves and has an option either side of it - to the left is "Hi" and to the right is "Lo";

To close the Cover, its sides should be gently pulled out - it is then secured in place by the Glass Panel "drawer", when it moves to the left or right.

As this is a vintage item, some wear and tear is to be expected.
